Weekly Weigh in #15

Weekly weigh in number 15 has crept up on me pretty fast. How have we gone past the middle of January already?! I've seen pictures on social media promoting Easter as well, talk about wishing the time away!

How is everyone getting on with their New Years Resolutions? Or didn't you make any? If you did then I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're doing well at sticking to them! Nothing like the beginning of
a new year to give you that vote of motivation and confidence to start something you've been putting off for ages. Although I must say I wish it was alittle warmer, drier and lighter in the evenings, dragging your butt to the gym when its cold and wet isn't fun! Hopefully it will all be worth it when Summer finally does come though.

I wasn't sure how this weeks weigh in was going to pan out, despite saying I was going to go to the gym 4 times, I only managed 3. I did stick to my meal plan except for Sunday where I had a planned 'cheat' meal of afternoon tea which was organised by my work so I couldn't really say no. However despite this I still managed to lose 2lbs which means I have now lost all of the festive weight that I gained. Hurrah! Now on to tackle the rest of the 48lbs that I have to lose. It is 26 weeks until my birthday in July and if I lose 1.85lbs per week then I will reach my goal of 10 stone. This seems pretty doable and also gives me the flexibility of not restricting my calorie intake and experimenting with different recipes as well.

My Meal Plan for the next 5 days looks something like this:

Monday 
Breakfast: Yoghurt, handful of cashew nuts and 2 Green Teas
Lunch: Basil Chicken and lettuce leaves
Dinner: Green Tea and handful of cashews ( I wouldn't usually have something this small but my plans for the evening fell through and I didn't have a meal spare!)

Tuesday
Breakfast: Yoghurt, handful of cashew nuts and 2 Green Teas
Lunch: Chicken and Vegetable Stir fry with whole wheat noodles
Dinner: Chicken Sriracha Salad, link to recipe here

Wednesday
Breakfast: Yoghurt, handful of cashew nuts and 2 Green Teas
Lunch: Basil Chicken and lettuce leaves
Dinner: Chicken in tomato and olive sauce with sautéed kale

Thursday
Breakfast: Yoghurt and 2 Green Teas
Lunch: Chicken in tomato and olive sauce with lettuce leaves
Dinner: Chicken Sriracha Salad 

Friday
Breakfast: Yoghurt and 2 Green Teas
Lunch: Chicken and Vegetable Stir fry with whole wheat noodles
Dinner: Chicken Escalopes with sweet potato wedges
